FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Anyone who is 18 years of age or older can submit an entry to the festival. If you are under the age of 18 and would like to enter the festival, you may have a parent or legal guardian submit your film on your behalf.
The film submission fees can be found by clicking here.
According the the Rules and Regulations of the festival, submitting a film to the festival does not guarantee acceptance or exhibition. Films must meet the exhibition requirements in order to be accepted into the festival. You will be notified via the email address that you provide on your submission form of the Submission Committee's decision regarding your film. For inquiries about your film's status, please send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
You should have received an email from the Submission Committee detailing the next steps. If you have not received this email, please contact us at email@example.com.
Don't dispair. Your film was most likely disqualified due to not meeting one or more of the content requirements. The email that you received from the Submission Committee should have details on the reason for your disqualification. In many cases, simply revising or re-editing your film to accommodate the requirements may be all that is necessary to have your film be resubmitted and accepted. Please see the rules regarding Re-Entry here.
We encourage anyone who has been disqualified to make the necessary changes to their films (if possible) and re-submit them to the festival before the specified deadline. Films that were disqualified from the current award season that are resubmitted before the festival deadline are not charged an additional submission fee.
We encourage you to submit as many films as you would like to the festival. Multiple submissions require their own individual entry form and submission fee. See the rules regarding Multiple Entries here.
