AWARDS AND RECOGNITION

The Grand Teton Film Festival presents awards and special recognition to those films that demonstrate the best of filmmaking in each category. These awards are intended, not only as a reward for excellence, but also as an incentive for participants to put their best foot forward.

Through these awards, we celebrate filmmaking at its finest.  We celebrate the hard work and dedication of production crews.  We celebrate the many hours spent editing and refining.  We celebrate the actors' performances through take after take.  We celebrate you!

Winners are selected by a panel of judges who critique each film in regard to all professional filmmaking elements as well as creativity and audience engagement.

AUDIENCE AWARDS

Winners are selected by audience members who vote for their favorite film in each category.

Best Feature Film

Best Short Film

Best Documentary

*Award Categories may be removed at any time (with or without prior notice) from the current season depending on the number of films submitted for each individual category.  Categories with less than two submissions will be dissolved and the films will be designated as Special Screenings.  Special Screenings will still be eligible for Technical Awards as well as some select Audience Choice and Jury Awards.

**Best of Show award is determined by combining each film's overall jury score with the audience ballots.  The film which has both the highest jury rating and most audience votes is declared the winner.  All films in every category are eligible for this award.
